Challenge
Tell the story of the historic Apollo lunar missions from a ‘you were there’ perspective, celebrating the “can do” spirit of the Apollo astronauts and the 500,000 people around the country who made it happen!
Solution
Re-create the countdown to launch sequence in the Apollo-era ‘Firing Room;’ simulate Neil Armstrong’s first steps on the lunar surface; display the full-scale, 500’ Saturn V rocket assembly horizontally, for close-up viewing.
